I finally finished my sign, it is carved into the wood. I've never tried carving before and it was an exciting venture.The paint is acrylic and I hope it weathers well as it it is going outside. It has a few coats of varnish.
It's funny how I have trouble knowing when to stop paining, tossing the question "When is it good enough?????"

Super Job dear. I should give carving a hand also see how good of a job I would do. Haven't been by here for awhile. Am occupied... but u r not forgotten
..nice ....good for you for trying something new..(like you aways do)....and when to stop?...that is why dead-lines are so good...becouse I don't know when to stop ether...oh...the sighn is very nice, but will it last...you will have to keep us posted on that....sth
